Wenzel Alpine Dome Tent Reviews
When researching the Wenzel Alpine 8.5 X 8-Feet Dome Tent we only found a couple dozen reviews online and the average user rating for this tent was only about 3.8 stars. The reviews were a bit mixed which makes it a lot more difficult to decide whether this tent is a good purchase or not. It’s always confusing when one review contradicts another.
One example of this contradiction is with the size of the tent. Some people are saying that it offers plenty of room and others are saying exactly the opposite. One person said that although it was a bit tight they had three adults and a dog inside this tent while another reviewer said that they had two adults and an air mattress and could barely get the door closed.
Another person said that there was enough room for a full size air bed, two people and two small dogs while another reviewer said that he and his wife could barely fit in with their backpacks and air mattress. A woman that reviewed this tent said that her boyfriend who is a little over 6 feet tall had his head touching one end of the tent and his feet touching the other.
The majority of the reviews for this tent were in the 3 star range and nearly all of the complaints were regarding the size of the tent. Aside from the amount (or lack) of space the tent seems to be fairly well-made, easy to put together and otherwise a decent quality tent. After researching the reviews for the Wenzel Alpine 8.5 X 8-Feet Dome Tent I think we would recommend this tent for someone that is less than 6 feet tall and for someone that does not plan to try to sleep three adults at the same time. For taller people, this tent may not be the best option.
